Billy Norwood

Joined the Marine Corps and took trip to Vietnam- 69 -70. Went to Camp Pendleton, CA, Pensacola, FL, Camp LeJeune, NC, GTMO Cuba, Ft Meade, MD, Norfolk, Va, Okinawa Japan, Norfolk, Cherry Point, NC and then retired in 94. Went to Norfolk State University 96-2000 Music Education; Started Contractor business in 1996 thru 2003. Began government contractor player in 2003- 2005; 2006-2007 Deputy Sheriff, Naples FL, then back to VA to begin work as civilian contractor again. Had current battle with cancer (removed baseball size tumor Mar 27, 2014. Second and third operation in May and June 14, currently on the mend. Planning on seeing classmates at Oct 2014 class reunion.

Part of the first FFHS graduating class. Missed most of my Senior year becuse of hunting, fishing seasons. Miss talking to Mr. Bushy, Mr. Ireton, Mr. Sklar, Mr. Olsen and Mr. Scott. Mr. Olsen and I kept touch for years, but somehow lost contact. I am guessing most of these folks have passed on, but still see them in my head and want to remember them as I do.
Larry Bond, Greg Ussery, Looyd (Juke) Webster and Steve Brucker used to hang out a lot. Am going to miss Larry and Greg as they have passed on, but look forward to seeing them again at a much later date. LOL
