I just found out Larry passed away while visiting his daughter and grandsons in Arizona. He had suffered from a long term illness and was hospitalized while in Arizona and later passed away. My heart goes out to his wife Terry and their children and grandchildren. Also, to his twin sister Marleen, please take care of yourself. You guys had such a close bond I know this must be hard. I remember Larry being such a mellow person and I had fun hanging out with him and his sister during high school. Sad to know he's gone.
My brother "Mike" Nelson. Senior Photo, 1970. "He was put on this earth to be a blessing, and the blessing goes on and on in all he left behind. You are in the prayers of the countless lives you touched." He'll be greatly missed."
I was saddened to hear of Larry's passing. I always enjoyed talking with him whenever we might both be at the bus stop for school. He always could be found with my future brother n law, Lloyd Stage, his partner in crime. To Marlene, I give my heartfelt condolences. I know well the grief of losing a sibling as I lost my sister a few years ago but I know the bond between twins is said to be even stronger. My prayers are with you and yours and his family. God Bless Wanda Podojil/Courtnery/ Mendillo
I'm sorry for your loss of your twin brother. I remember hanging out with you and Sharon, while Larry was in the background quiet and a little shy. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
To the Nelson Family, I met Larry in grade school at Dover. He was very quiet soft spoken kid. As we entered high school he stayed the same. I saw him as a man at the class reunions.A kind and gentle man.
It's hard to understand why people are taken from us so soon, but find comfort
in knowing you were a special part of a well-lived life.
When the our loved ones go home , they leave a gift of memories in exchange.
Hole on to your memories, and let them guide you during this time of sadness.

I have good memories of him - he always seemed happy, smiling, and humble. I wish I had stayed in contact with him.
