Bill Dearman - Class Of 1970

Bill Dearman

     Fairfield High School
Classes of 1968 - 1971

March 10, 1952 - September 22, 2014

William John Dearman (you probably know him as “Bill”) of Mesa, Arizona entered eternal life on Monday, September 22, 2014. Bill was born in Clearfield, Utah to Carlton “Al” and Betty Dearman in 1952. Bill spent most of his childhood traveling the globe, but as an adult he was drawn toward the west coast until finally settling down with his family in Arizona in 1998. His travels didn’t end there though, as he is continuously fascinated by this world and everything it has to offer.

Bill is an amazing person and everyone who knows him is a better person because of it. He is a jokester, a prankster, a tinker, a musician (mostly guitar until recently when he decided to learn how to play the Jew’s Harp), an adventurer, a self proclaimed fashionista, and above all else he is an amazingly wonderful man. Bill personified young at heart when he chose ski-diving as his fiftieth birthday gift of choice.

His spirit is carried on by his best friend and loving wife Sandra Dearman; his sister Lee (George) Thompson of Florida; his brother Carlton “Skip” (Julie) Dearman of Arizona; his five children Sabrina (David) Hallsten of Montana, Jennifer (Tremain) Morgan of Arizona, Shannon Rohloff of Washington, Nicholas Dearman of Cailfornia, and Patrick Dearman of California; his 8 grandchildren; and an extended family of friends from every walk of life.

Everyone who knows Bill is asked to celebrate Bill’s life in their own way, raising a glass of their favorite drink in his memory would be quite appropriate. The family will host a celebration of life for Bill on Friday, September 26, 2014 from 11am – 2pm at Kiwanis Park (pavilion number 9) in Tempe, Arizona.
