Andy died of cancer at the age of 53. He was a great friend, fellow athlete and musician. He had the greatest smile and laugh. We went to KI Jones Elementary and FHS together, played sports, went fishing and played pool alot. He drove his Dad's little Metropolitan around - I wonder where that ended up. The last time I saw him was when he and Joe Mraz came up to Davis to see Shelley and me in 1971. He joined the Navy and I joined the Army and we never saw each other again. I attended his funeral in 2003 and met with his family. Octavia, his older sister, was there with her family. Three months later, Octavia also passed away from brain cancer.

Very nice and touching message from Mick. My last name was different during HS, but real last name is posted.I remember Andy as a smallish, tough, but gentle off of football field in HS. He was very athletic and remember him as a vicious tackler.
I recall he was a gentle, rather reserved guy in the classroom.
