I only knew Norm Junior and Senior years, but I remember how funny and kind he was.  I always had a great time hanging with him and talking.  I've thought of him over the years with fond memories.

I took my buddy Norman to one of our Drama after parties he was hesitant but went, that's when he realized thespians aren't all nerds! I think he had a great time.

Miss you friend,

Only a few people knew about my home situation. Norman was simpsthetic and listened daily about the alcohol and beatings by my parents. Norman and his mother both thought it would be best if I stayed with them until things cooled down. I did. What I saw was a family deep in love and a strong home. His parents were great. After a few weeks I went back home to Nightingale Drive to the same mess I left. At the end of that year my parents in Nashville found out about everything and they moved me back to the South leaving the only place and school I have loved. Rest In Peace Norman. You are remembered.

Ah, Norm. The one guy I could count on to skip classes at Solano College with me. He hardly needed a nudge to drive me off to share a corn beef sandwich and some adventure. I remember escaping during the day to San Francisco and getting back in time to pick up the rest of our car pool. A wonderful man and a terrific friend.

With affection,

Connie
