I am heart broken to tell you that my beloved husband Doug Chadbourne died peacefully in his sleep on May 18, 2021. He had a rare devastating disease called MSA. We would of celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary in September. Linda Chadbourne
My heartfelt condolences for your deep lose. My prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. I hope the wonderful memories will help you through this loss.
So sorry to hear about your husband's death when I knew him he was a happy-go-lucky guy not play on words. I couldn't be at the last reunions but I heard his health was failing I thought it was dementia. Looking at his picture brings back fond memories but I can't even remember who his best friend was but I did date his sister for a brief time I considered him a valley boy as I remember he lived close to a Japanese or Chinese market just passed Rockville. I love that period In all of our lives.
Linda, I'm so very sorry to hear of Doug's passing. Not only did I go to high school with him, but also Solano College. He always had a smile on his face. My thoughts are with you and your family
Linda, it was with great sadness that I learned about Doug's passing and the preceding years of illness, He was so handsome in that graduation photo, and that is how I remember him-- funny and easy going and a joy to be around. We attended FFHS and Solano Community College together, and even worked at K-Mart (where I met you). I know you have wonderful memories of your life together that will sustain you. Condolances and prayers to your family. Barbara Emmert
Linda, Dave and I were so sorry to hear of Doug's passing. We will always remember him as the outgoing, energetic, fun loving guy in high school. In college he was one of my pals while Dave went off to the Navy. I remember the dinner parties at each other's homes (and the stove/grill catastrophe at his house) as well as the camping and hiking trecks with the gang of us who went to Solano JC.You made a beautiful family together and were a "warrior wife" battling his disease. We have only wonderful memories of Doug.
